School Open – Tuesday 6th January 2026

Good morning,

School is open as normal today. Please attend if it is safe for you to do so.

Only the main pathways have been gritted, and other areas may be icy. For this reason, children should remain off the yard on arrival and at pick-up times.

Please take extra care when travelling to and from school, and ensure children wear suitable footwear.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Kind regards,

Mr Fisher

School Closure Notice – Monday, 5th January

Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to the severe snow and icy conditions, and limited staff availability, we have made the difficult decision to close the school today. The safety of our pupils and staff is our top priority, and the current conditions make it unsafe to open.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this challenging weather. We will keep you updated regarding reopening plans as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support and stay safe.

Siarter Iaith Silver progress

The Criw Cymraeg have been working really hard this term to meet the targets of the Siarter Iaith Silver Award.

Every week we hold a Welsh assembly where we present the Welsh speaker of the week with a special certificate and post them to Class Dojo. We are all learning the Welsh national anthem and are excited with our art project ‘CROESO’. Each class is designing a letter from the word ‘croeso’ which will be displayed in the school before the end of term.

As a criw we have lots of ideas and can’t wait to show you all what we’ve been up to.

Hwyl!
